Desi Kothi Ice Cream is built on quality, honesty and respect. We expect every supplier we work with to share these values and to meet the standards in this Supplier Code.
Suppliers must meet all applicable food safety laws and the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code, maintain an effective food safety program, and support our product commitments: 100% pure milk, no egg, no gelatine, no added water, and halal.
We expect honest and fair dealing at all times. Bribery, corruption, kickbacks and misleading conduct are not tolerated. Any conflict of interest must be disclosed to us.
Suppliers must comply with Australian workplace and employment laws, pay fair wages, provide safe working conditions, and must not use forced, bonded or child labour anywhere in their supply chain.
We encourage suppliers to reduce waste, energy use and packaging, and to source responsibly. Suppliers must comply with all applicable environmental laws.
Recipes, pricing and business information shared with suppliers must be kept confidential and used only to supply Desi Kothi.
We may ask suppliers to confirm they meet this Code and to share supporting information. If you become aware of a breach, please contact us. We may review or end a supply relationship where this Code is not met.
